      Opening Celebration at Autumn Harvest Winery & Orchard

      We are happy to announce we will have our Opening Day Celebration on Saturday, June 6th from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Autumn Harvest Winery & Orchard, 19947 Cty Hwy J, Chippewa Falls.

      SmokeStream food truck will be serving delicious street food all day.

      The Sixes will be entertaining us with live music from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. “The Sixes” are an Acoustic Duo that brings music of multiple genres, from folk rock to pop to blues these guys have you covered! Featuring locally based artists Dwayne Thomas (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar) and Gordon Altizer (Guitar/Cajon). 

      We will have our wines available for purchase by the glass or by the bottle. Feel free to bring your own chair.

      Come out and enjoy a day of fun!

      We will be following all recommendations from local health organizations and the Wisconsin Winery Association to maintain a clean and safe experience for all of our customers. We will be using plastic cups for wine tastings and making sure the tables are 6 feet apart.

      Food Truck Saturday - June 6th! Island Vibe will be here serving their delicious Caribbean cuisine…think Jerk Chicken or Pulled Pork served with fried plantains. Yum! Food can be enjoyed here or taken to-go.

      Seating is mainly outside and physical distancing applies. Bring your own chair and spread out across our spacious lawn. Island Vibe will be here from 11 am to 4:30 pm or while supplies last.

      It’s Sangria Saturday! Join us on Saturday, June 13th for a glass of our famous bubbly sangria. Made from Cheers Rose’ Sparkling wine, fresh citrus, and River Bend Sunset and LaCrescent, this Sangria is like summer in a glass. We will be serving Sangria from 11am to 4:30pm or while supplies last.

      This is the first of two Sangria Saturday events this summer. Our next Sangria Saturday will be August 22nd. Specialty drinks such as Sangria are not eligible for BOGO wine-by-the-glass.

      Join us on June 13 from 2 – 5 p.m. to hear live music by Steve John Rindt

      Steven John Rindt is a finger-style guitarist that uses classical technique to give popular acoustic covers a crisp and intriguing sound. He plays instrumental and original songs as well. When not performing as a solo artist, he plays lead guitar in the band Last Open Road with his dad.

      We will have wine, cheese, and snacks available for purchase, so come, relax, and enjoy.

      Feel free to bring a chair to this outdoor event.

      Classes: Monday to Thursday, June 15 - 25, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (bring a lunch)
      Two Performances on Friday, June 26th at 2:00 p.m. and at 6:00 p.m., Heyde Center for the Arts, 3 S. High St., Chippewa Falls

      The timeless, “rags to riches” fairy tale is an adaptation of the treasured animated film that will charm its way into your heart and remind the audience that dreams really can come true. The Heyde Center for the Arts welcomes up to thirty  youth who are ready to learn more about acting and performing on stage. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who have never appeared in a musical performance before as well as a fun production for those who are more familiar with the stage! Come experience the joy of performance and all the valuable lessons that can be learned through the arts. Cost for this camp is: $75/child Tickets to the performance are adults $6, youth $3. Registration for the first ten kids who sign up will be covered by the Sue Decker Theater Education Fund and the CF Optimist Club.

      Live Music with Mark Healy and Jim Schuh Duo at Autumn Harvest Winery and Orchard

      Join us on June 20th for live music with Mark Healey and Jim Schuh from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.

      Mark and Jim each began playing music during the mid 1960s. Mark has been in the world famous band Badfinger since 1986. In 2009, Mark released his CD Inside Out. Recently Jim played in his band Schuh Fly. As a duo Mark and Jim perform a variety of songs that they really like. Artists covered include: Badfinger, Beatles, Bob Dylan, Everly Bros., Buddy Holly, etc.

      We will have wine, cheese, and snacks available for purchase, so come, relax, and enjoy!

      Feel free to bring a lawn chair to this outdoor event.

      The RCU Foundation’s Rock the Riverfront featuring the Charity Classic is celebrating 26 years and will be bigger & better than ever! If you’re looking to pound the proverbial pavement, you can enjoy one of the Chippewa Valley’s prettiest running routes. And, if you’re not a runner, there are still plenty of reasons to head to Phoenix Park to help the RCU Foundation raise money for three great charities.

      Plan to spend the day with us!
      -10K and 2 mile walk/run, youth races (registration includes a T-shirt, a charity vote, and a meal ticket!) -Family Games (inflatables, cash grab booth, balloon animals, kids games, face-painting, and more!) -Food Trucks - a variety, including healthy options if that's your thing!

      And the “charity” part is bigger & better, too! Proceeds from the event will go to:
      -Family Support Center
      -National Alliance on Mental Illness Chippewa Valley -New Horizons Shelter and Outreach Centers

      All three will benefit, but YOU get to choose our big winner! Get one free vote with race registration. Additional votes can be purchased to help the charity of your choice win the big prize.
      -First place - $15,000
      -Second place - $7,500
      -Third place - $5,000

      In addition to our beloved race we have many activities that are fun for the entire family. Runners and non-runners alike will enjoy a day in Phoenix Park with fitness, food, and fun, for the whole family.
