Chippewa County Historical Society

Tour a 50-room museum and research local history in the extensive library. The Chippewa County Historical Society is located at 123 Allen St., Chippewa Falls. Open Tuesdays, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., tours at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and the fourth Saturday of each month 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. September through May except December.

Displays include:

• The lower level - The Rutledge room
• The first floor - The Allen room
• The second floor - The Indian room, Shell room, Children’s room, Music room and a Prohibition display
• The third floor - The Logging room and display, Railroad room, Tool room, Home appliances room, Dorland room, Nuns' room, Military room, Civil War room, and Survey room
